Portland, Oregon

Before Piper and I returned to Arizona, we wrapped up our across America tour with a visit to Portland, Oregon. We were lucky to time it with our friends visit and spend a couple days with them. Ian, Paul, and I were in Peace Corps together, and Molly joined the crew when Paul and Ian were in grad school at Fletcher. We finally got to meet their adorable son, Bertie! Pi and Bertie got along like they’ve known each other for years!

We had a great hike at Mt. Hood. Absolutely beautiful!

We also explored the waterfalls of Columbia River Gorge. Oregon is such a beautiful state!

I love Portland! I could live there, it is definitely my type of town! If only there was more sunshine!
